Thank you for using DotMosaic. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Content You Create
All pixel art patterns you create are stored locally on your device only. We never upload or access your creative content.

Device Information
We collect basic device and system information (such as device model and OS version) solely to ensure the App functions correctly.

Purchase Information
Subscription and payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment details.

Advertising (International Users Only)
If your device language is not set to Chinese, the App may display ads powered by Google AdMob. On iOS 14.5 and above, we will ask for your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before serving personalized ads. You can decline at any time without affecting your use of the App. For details on how Google handles data, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. Permissions

We only request permissions that are directly needed for features you choose to use:

Camera — to capture photos as pixel art source material
Photo Library — to import images and save finished artwork
Tracking (ATT) — for ad personalization (international users only, optional)

All permissions can be revoked at any time in your device Settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide and improve the App’s core features, verify your subscription status, and display ads to eligible users.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with Apple (for payment processing) and Google AdMob (for advertising, international users only, subject to your ATT choice).

6. Data Storage

All content you create stays on your device. No account registration is required. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Your Choices

Delete data: Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
Revoke permissions: Settings → DotMosaic
Opt out of ad tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Manage subscriptions: App Store → Account → Subscriptions

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
