Privacy Policy

App: EarlyPact
Developer: Zoro
Contact: qiangshengjia@gmail.com
Effective Date: August 20, 2026

1. Overview

EarlyPact is an alarm clock and wake-up habit app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

The short version: EarlyPact is an offline app. It has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you create in the App stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of the following:

EarlyPact does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution SDK, and makes no network requests to any server operated by us.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is created by you while using the App and is saved only in the App’s own private storage on your device (iOS app container). It is never uploaded to us or to any third party:

Alarms and Settings
Alarm times, labels, repeat days, chosen alarm sound, chosen wake-up mission type, and your App preferences (alarm sound on/off, background keep-alive, Auto Max Volume).

Onboarding Answers
The wake-up habit answer and target wake-up time you select during onboarding, used to set up your first alarm and goals.

Wake-Up and Sleep Records
For each day: your check-in result (success, missed, or protected by a Streak Freeze), the time you checked in awake, an optional bedtime you log yourself, and an optional mood tag. This powers your streak, statistics, and the wake/bedtime trend chart.

Streak Data
Your current and best streak, achievement progress, and remaining Streak Freezes.

Mission Data
For the scan-code mission, the code you register in order to dismiss future alarms.

Subscription Status
A locally cached flag recording whether your subscription is currently active, so the App can unlock Premium features while offline.

Time-Integrity Marker
The App records the latest date and time it has genuinely observed on your device. This is used solely to keep streaks honest — it prevents a check-in from being credited for a day that has already passed by changing your device clock. It is a single timestamp, kept on your device.

You can erase all of this data at any time by deleting the App from your device.

4. Camera and Photos

Two optional wake-up missions use the camera. The camera is only activated while you are actively performing one of these missions:

EarlyPact does not request access to your photo library and cannot read your existing photos. Photos taken in the App are not written to your Photos app unless you choose to save or share them yourself.

5. Motion Sensors

The shake and exercise missions read your device’s accelerometer to count movement while the mission is on screen. This data is processed in real time to detect motion and is never stored or transmitted. Accelerometer access does not require a system permission prompt on iOS, and the App does not use HealthKit, step counting, or any other health or fitness data.

6. Notifications

The App schedules local notifications on your device to ring your alarms. These are created and delivered entirely by iOS on your device. No notification is sent through a remote push server, and the App does not use push notifications.

7. Purchases

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple’s StoreKit framework. We never see or store your payment card, Apple ID, or billing details. The App only receives from Apple whether a valid subscription exists for your Apple ID. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

8. Sharing Your Progress

When you tap a share button, the App renders an image of your streak, statistics, or check-in — which may include a photo you took for the photo mission — writes it to a temporary file, and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is up to you and the app or service you choose. We are not involved in and receive no copy of that share.

9. Device Volume

If you turn on the optional “Auto Max Volume” setting (which requires an explicit confirmation), the App raises your device’s media volume while an alarm rings and restores your previous level afterwards. This changes a device setting; it does not read or transmit any personal information.

10. Permissions Summary

The App asks only for permissions tied to features you choose to use:

Permission Why Required?
Notifications To ring your alarms Needed for alarms to work
Camera Photo mission and scan-code mission Optional — only if you use those missions

11. Children’s Privacy

EarlyPact is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the App collects no personal information at all, no such data can be transmitted to us in any case.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

All App data lives on your device. There is nothing stored on our side to request, export, or delete. To remove everything, delete the App. Note that if you use iCloud or iTunes device backups, your device backup may include the App’s data; that backup is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by us.

13. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or process personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, port, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the data on your device. If you have questions about this, contact us at the email below.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App changes. The revised Effective Date at the top of this page will indicate when it was last updated, and material changes will be reflected in the App. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
